COVID-19

Important: The information in this chapter has been prepared in early 2022. The world has recently been faced with a new virus – COVID-19. To limit the spread of the virus, food handlers are required to wear face masks during their work shift and use the correct handwashing method  every time before touching food or setting the table.

Just the wearing of face shields to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is not recommended. If a face shield must be worn, it is recommended that it is used in combination with a face mask.
